Each year MTSU hosts a spring concert bringing artists to campus for an exclusive event for students, faculty, and alumni.
The spring concert allows the MTSU community to come together for an exciting event to wrap up the school year.
For those students studying during COVID-19, the sense of community was few and far between. Students were on Zoom calls for class and ultimately 6 feet apart at all times.
In the spring of 2022, Jack Harlow performed live in the Murphy’s Center on campus. Alayna Hurst, a student at the university, explains how this event brought many students back together after the pandemic, “Jack Harlow was exciting because he was up and coming. It was exciting to finally be surrounded by people again and to have something to bring the campus life together in a sense.”
In 2022, when Jack Harlow made his appearance on campus the energy was alive as students lined the gates of the ticket booth. Fast forward to 2024, and the energy is back on campus with the announcement of Khalid performing for the spring concert.
The award-winning artist sparked the attention of many on campus. The private concert will be held in the Murphy Center on April 24, 2024.
Students can receive their tickets starting Monday, April 15th by bringing their MTSU ID and or their MT event pass to the ticket office at Gate 1-A of the Football Stadium.
MTSU Students will have an exclusive opportunity to receive floor passes to the concert on Monday, April 22nd, and Tuesday, April 23rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the STU Commons (while supplies last).
